my revived hobby

after seeing joyce's and anais' scrapbook, i was inspired once again to pick up my old hobby of scrapbooking!
bought a bunch of new stuff from joanne and michaels this weekend since every craft material was 40% off. then this morning, i went down to my storage room and digged out all the old tools and papers...

and here are all the stuff i need to make one scrapbook. =D

i decided to start with my japan trip in 2001. a huge target.... because i was there for 3 months, so i have a ton of pictures just for that trip.

and these are the rest of the trips from my pre-digital camera era that awaits to be in a scrapbook....

i don't even want to think about my post-digital camera days, because since i got my digital cameral last year i stopped caring if i was "wasting film". so i think i took about 3000 pictures for my london/spain trip... hm.. i might need two books just for that.

Comments:
At least you're reasonably organized with your photo prints ... heh.

Looks like a fun hobby. Echoing pekkle's comment about being organized with the prints...

haha, bob said it looks fun! i want to see him try his hand at scrapbooking ;)

it is a fun hobby actually, i have been using it as my study break when i write my thesis... i get to do one page of scrapbook if i write two pages of thesis. =)
karen, you, me and maria should get together and scrapbook sometimes! and bob... you can try too. =p

wow, what a great idea...organizing photos in a filing folder! i should do that...mine are all over the place right now.

and yes, let's start scrapbooking together! i'm still trying to finish my engagement scrapbook! :)

hi joy,
i am so happy to know that you like to scrapbooking too. i really need some scrapbookmates.

ooh, we can have a scrapbooking party when i come up! i'm hosting one at my house this coming friday, and i have to go to michael's (for my students), i hope i don't get tempted to buy more...

there is a big scrapbook show in orlando this coming weekend. i don't know if i should go. i am afraid i will be like a kid in the candy store...

oh anais you totally should. i would if there is one in san jose. did you know you can get a M.A. in scrapbooking? =D

really? do you know how to and where to get a M.A. in scrapbooking? that will be what i'd like to do.

anais,
there's a company called creatingkeepsakes.com. they offer 2 day album workshops, 3 day conventions, and a M.A. in scrapbooking. it's in boston in auust.
joy, i went to joanns and bought more paper and stickers...yikes!
