mike's 30th!
i'm way behind on my blog... lots of stuff has happened since i last blogged, but i have been very busy with the new school year starting. i finally have a weekend where i don't have anything to do. to put the last 3 months in a nutshell: summer school was very labor intensive and i don't think i've fully recovered from that still. in mid July, mike and i finally went on our delayed honeymoon -- which was the highlight of our summer. the trip was wonderful and we both really enjoyed it. we took over 1000 pictures and it took me forever to sort through them. but i did manage to put the scrapbook together!
Right after we got home, my parents came to visit for the first time since we got married. Then second week of August was the church retreat at Asilomar, third week of August was a & a's wedding.

last week of August we had our friends dan & tiff coming for mike's 30th and we had a small dinner party at home.

The following week, mike's family came to visit us for the first time also and we went down to Carmel for a day.
