cute story that happend at work on fri:
during snack time jonathan in my class wanted a second serving. so the teacher who had the snack trays told him that she would cut the last muffin we had into 6 little pieces, and each of the children could have more. she thought she might just take this opportunity to teach the kids about fraction, so everytime she cut the muffin she made a point to show how the muffin pieces would multiply. the children watched intenselywhile yelling out the number of new pieces it made. Then out of no where, jonathan yelled out in excitement "wow, teacher, you can be just like Jesus!" i couldn't help to laugh out loud.... too cute.
at night, i had maria and karen over for their be-lated birthday dinner. we had a fondue meal with orange duck and mediterranean salad.

one thing that i was a bit disappointed about was the green tea cupcakes.

some of you who were my taste testers know that i've tried three different recipes before presenting them to the birthday girls. but it still didn't turn out as flavorful as i had wanted them to be. i'm not much of a baker because i've never been good with following instructions, but this one i'm determine to perfect, haha....
actually i want to try making prime rib too, anybody want to volunteer to be my taste testers? =p
btw, thanks to karen, who figure out the puzzle that i had, so all the pieces fit neatly now. =)

here are more pictures from maria & karen's b-day dinner
oh i finally uploaded pictures from the scavenger hunt from last week also.

i'm glad you enjoyed the dinner =)
and yes, i no longer have to fear for ppl who can't put the puzzle back.
